Member Advocacy Work Group Update - August 2024

The Safer Buildings Coalition Member Advocacy Work Group met earlier this month. 

The team discussed the shift of the Member Advocacy Work Group to becoming a focus group. The work group members also explored the enhancement of 9-1-1 services, the performance issues in the public safety land mobile radio space, and the expansion of the Safer Buildings Coalition team, with a focus on school safety.

Lastly, the group discussed potential partnerships, the integration of a Comprehensive Resource Library, and the increasing demand for OSHA certification in various jurisdictions.
