ADRF Announces UL 2524, Second Edition-Certified Public Safety Communications System

Long-time Safer Buildings Coalition member ADRF has announced two new lines of UL 2524-certified public safety communications products - the PSR-U and BBx-U Series of public safety repeaters and battery backups. The products are licensed/certified both individually and as a comprehensive system. The PSR-U and BBx-U Series are also the first to receive the Enhanced UL Certification Mark for UL 2524, second edition.

The virtual event will be held October 26-29. On Wednesday we'll "crossover" from the virtual programming to our onsite experiences, which takes place at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Colorado October 28-29.  All in-person sessions will also be streamed to the virtual platform.

Have you ever been in a hurry and had that annoying little device with three colorful lights impact your journey? I’m sure you have. But have you ever truly thought about its origin and, more significantly, its importance?

In 1868, the first traffic light was installed in London. A short time later, in 1914, the American Traffic Signal Company installed the world’s first electric traffic signal in Cleveland, Ohio.  It had two colors, red and green, and a buzzer, to provide a warning for color changes.
