If so, we invite you to join our special ERCES Handbook Sponsorship Program, which allows SBC members to purchase one or more boxes of books (eight books per box) at a deep discount, affix their own labels and hand out the book to local AHJs and Radio System Staff. This is a great way to spread the enforcement message, educate jurisdiction staff, and build a relationship based on gratitude and value with book recipients.

Paul Caplan Joins Safer Buildings Coalition as School Safety Domain Executive

The Safer Buildings Coalition is delighted to announce that Mr. Paul Caplan has joined the organization as School Safety Domain Executive. In this newly created role, Caplan will lead SBC's efforts in the school safety and security sectors. 

Caplan will help the SBC shape impactful messaging to raise awareness and inspire and drive collaboration with and between communities, grassroots organizations, decision makers, wireless industry. Caplan joining the team significantly strengthens the SBC's voice and impact as the Coalition and its partners work to make schools safer for our precious children.

Member Advocacy Work Group Update - August 2024

The Safer Buildings Coalition Member Advocacy Work Group met earlier this month. 

The team discussed the shift of the Member Advocacy Work Group to becoming a focus group. The work group members also explored the enhancement of 9-1-1 services, the performance issues in the public safety land mobile radio space, and the expansion of the Safer Buildings Coalition team, with a focus on school safety.
