Your Passion, Dedication, and Steadfast Commitment Have Made a Profound ImpactDear Safer Buildings Coalition Members, As the holiday season unfolds, I find myself reflecting on the incredible work we’ve accomplished together throughout the year. Your passion, dedication, and steadfast commitment have made a profound impact—not just on our mission but on countless lives. It is an honor to walk this journey with you as we strive to ensure critical communications for the public and emergency responders inside buildings during emergencies. This year has been nothing short of remarkable. Your engagement in seminars, workgroups, special events, and Board of Directors activities has demonstrated the power of collaboration and shared purpose. Every effort you have contributed has been a building block toward a safer and more connected world. Together, we have broken barriers, embraced innovation, and pushed the boundaries of what is possible. We also celebrated two groundbreaking initiatives: School Safety and 9-1-1 Inside. These programs underscore our mission to make a difference where it matters most. School Safety is a commitment to protecting our children by ensuring robust communication systems in educational facilities. 9-1-1 Inside ensures seamless connectivity during emergencies, providing the lifeline that first responders and the public need in critical moments. Your overwhelming support for these initiatives reflects your shared vision of a safer future. As we move forward, I am reminded of the words in Matthew 5:16: "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." This verse embodies the heart of our mission—to let our work shine as a beacon of hope and safety for all. Looking ahead, the coming year is brimming with opportunities to make an even greater impact. Together, we will continue to emphasize the importance of workforce competency and the critical role of radio frequency (RF) knowledge in achieving our goals. As the great humanitarian Albert Schweitzer once said, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." Let this wisdom guide us as we forge ahead with determination and unity. During this special season, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you. Your unwavering dedication to our mission is inspiring and deeply appreciated. I hope this holiday season allows you to rest, recharge, and cherish meaningful moments with your friends and loved ones. Family is the foundation of all that we do, and it is in these connections that we find strength and purpose. Wishing you a joyful and blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with hope, peace, and the excitement of what we can achieve together. Let us enter 2025 with renewed energy, ready to shine our light and make a lasting difference. With heartfelt appreciation, Alan W. Perdue Executive Director of the Safer Buildings Coalition
