Save the Date, The SBC Annual Member Meeting – Virtual Event

This year the Safer Buildings Coalition Annual Meeting is going virtual. Mark your calendars for:

Tuesday, August 18th, 1pm EDT

COVID-19 has certainly changed the world as we know it. Indeed, every aspect of our lives has been impacted to some degree, and at the Coalition we miss interacting with you while we are on the road.

But that won’t keep us from hosting our marquee event. We cannot meet you all in person this year, so we’ll get together virtually instead!

Getting together provides more than just business benefits. Research shows that individuals involved in an active social life have a tendency to live longer than those who are more secluded. And with all this quarantining that is taking place, feeling isolated is a definite reality. Additionally, an active social life can improve both physical health and mental health. Interacting with others can boost our well-being. Individuals who associate with others generally perform better on tests of memory and other thinking skills.

We definitely want to make sure you live longer and improve your physical and mental health. So plan to attend the Virtual SBC Annual Member Meeting. This great event will allow you to see firsthand what has been taking place within the Coalition – and what the future will bring. Also, there will be an awards ceremony where you can see many of your peers in the industry be recognized for the work they have been doing to support our efforts.

Don’t miss it… Keep an eye out for additional information.

Sincerely,
Chief Alan Perdue (ret.)
