Safer Buildings Coalition Announces Board of Directors

This week the Safer Buildings Coalition has announced the election of its Board of Directors. Each member of the Board has agreed to continue to uphold and further the mission of the Safer Buildings Coalition.

The SBC Board of Directors is led by Jeff Hipchen, national leader of enterprise wireless solutions and Executive Vice President at RF Connect. 

“We are delighted to have Jeff serve as board president of the Safer Buildings Coalition,” said Executive Director of the Safer Buildings Coalition, Chief Alan Perdue (Ret.). “His industry expertise and wise counsel will help propel our organization forward as we tackle the extremely important mission of ensuring our First Responders have adequate voice and data communications during emergencies.”

“I’m proud and humbled to be elected to this leadership role within the Safer Buildings Coalition,” stated RF Connect Executive Vice President Jeff Hipchen. “First Responders deserve our full support and access to in-building wireless communications can be the difference between life and death for First Responders and the public they seek to assist.”

Serving alongside Jeff are Mike Collado – who will be serving as Board Treasurer – and Seth Buechley – Board Secretary.

Seth Buechley, Principal at Priority RF, currently serves the DAS industry by providing strategic consulting to stakeholders seeking to deploy large scale projects or enter the DAS/Public Safety In-building coverage markets.

SBC Board Treasurer, Mike Collado, is a marketing executive and brand evangelist who helps companies win mindshare and capture marketshare. Mike recently served as Vice President of Marketing for SOLiD – a manufacturer of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Optical Transport solutions – where he led the strategy and execution for all corporate marketing, product marketing and marketing communications.
