SBC 2026 Seminars: An Overview of the Planning Process

Planning for the 2026 Safer Buildings Coalition Seminar season is already underway! We encourage all members to participate — as sponsors, speakers, or tabletop exhibitors. Below is an overview of the process, key dates, and ways to get involved.

HOW TO EXHIBIT OR SPONSOR

You can participate in the 2026 Seminar Series in one of two ways:

  • Sponsor: Includes speaking opportunities, planning input, and an exhibit table at the event. Sponsors may also purchase a Same-Day Bonus Event — a 2-hour session following the seminar to host their own meeting or demo.
  • Tabletop Exhibitor: For those who prefer to display products and network without a speaking slot.

Please note that you must be a Safer Buildings Coalition member to exhibit at one of our seminars. members have been sent a Planning Survey already. If you didn't get this, please contact us by emailing [email protected]

KEY 2026 PLANNING DATES

Friday, October 31, 2025: 2026 City List Released — start planning your top picks.
Friday, November 7, 2025 @ 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT: Round 1 Submittals Open — first-come, first-served! Cities will be assigned using the Schoolyard Pick process.
Friday, November 14, 2025 @ 12:00 PM ET / 9:00 AM PT: Round 1 Submittals Close.
Friday, December 12, 2025: Lock-In Date: Sponsors must confirm their city selections by this date. Upon locking in, sponsors will be invoiced and SBC will begin venue and travel planning. After the lock-in, SBC may open additional cities based on demand.
Friday, December 19, 2025: Round 2 Begins — paid-tier member companies will receive an email with a link to submit bids for remaining available cities. (Some slots may be reserved for new members joining throughout 2026.)
